PHOTOGRAPHER, INTERN


**This is a volunteer (unpaid) position.**

Position Summary:

This Photographer is responsible for using their technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to produce and preserve images that tell a story or record an event. In this position, you will have the opportunity to have your work published in magazines and more! This role will play a pivotal role in all aspects of building and maintaining the Spread the Love Projects brand internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and lead photography shoots

    • Arrange scenes and lighting, direct participants, and maintain image archives

  • Edit and deliver content that adheres to brand guidelines and standards

  • Assist with other marketing projects and tasks as needed

  • Report to the Head of the Marketing Department

  • Assist the Board of Directors and the General Team when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field

  • Experience in photography and studio equipment

  • Excellent skills in areas of photography and video editing

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Proficiency in multimedia software, including Canva and Adobe Illustrator

Term Limit:

  • 6 - 12 months

Hours:

  • Remote

  • Bi-Weekly Monday Meetings

  • Asynchronous work throughout the week

    • Average 2 hours per week

  • Photography shoots as needed
