WEB ANALYTICS MANAGER


**This is a volunteer (unpaid) position.**

Position Summary:

Spread the Love Projects is seeking a skilled Web Analytics Manager to oversee the development, maintenance, and performance of our organization's online presence. As the website manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and effectively communicates our brand message. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for website optimization, content management, and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating exceptional online experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development and Maintenance:

  • Create and optimize content for the website to improve search engine visibility and attract target audiences.

  • Consistently update website content to reflect donations

  • Ensure website is updated with current events occurring in the organization

  • Communicate with the organization’s finance and marketing department to tailor STLP’s website

  • Assist treasurer and finance department in any technological issues regarding the organization, including but not limited to, the website and donation platforms

Search Engine Optimization and Analytics:

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website ranking and drive organic traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research, monitor site analytics, and generate regular reports to track website performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize website content, design, and functionality for maximum effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate digital marketing campaigns and initiatives into the website strategy.

  • Utilize various digital marketing channels, such as email marketing, social media, and advertising, to drive traffic and conversions.

  • Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing efforts and make recommendations for improvement.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure website security by implementing appropriate measures to protect against malware, hacking, and other cybersecurity threats.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance standards related to website accessibility, data privacy, and user consent.

  • Ensure secure integrity of all technological platforms STLP utilizes

Qualifications:

  • Experience at the collegiate level in web development, computer science, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing websites, preferably in a corporate or e-commerce environment.

  • Proficiency in web development languages and platforms, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or Drupal.

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of website security best practices and compliance standards.

  • Experience with digital marketing strategies and tactics is a plus.

Term Limit:

  • 6 - 12 months

Hours:

  • Remote

  • Bi-Weekly Monday Meetings

  • Asynchronous work throughout the week

    • Average 2 hours per week
