Spread The Love Projects, in partnership with Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Jaquan Brisker, hosted a Back-to-School Hygiene Drive on July 25th, 2026 at Gateway High School designed to provide students and families with essential hygiene resources ahead of the new school year.

The initiative directly impacted 139 students and distributed more than 5,000 hygiene supplies to students and families. The drive aimed to address an often-overlooked barrier to student well-being by ensuring children had access to basic personal-care products they may need throughout the school year.

Hygiene kits were distributed that included toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, deodorant, hand sanitizer, and other personal-care essentials. Products were selected with the diverse needs of students and families in mind.

The event brought together STLP volunteers and community partners to organize, prepare, and distribute the resources. The collaboration with Jaquan Brisker helped expand the reach of the initiative and bring additional attention to the importance of providing children with the resources they need to feel prepared and confident at school.

The Back-to-School Hygiene Drive is part of STLP’s broader commitment to supporting children and families through community-focused initiatives. Through its CARE Project and other programs, STLP works to provide tangible resources and financial support to families facing healthcare and financial hardships.
